Full Internship Timeline

Since my freshmen year, I've pursued numerous opportunities to learn about the different types of communications from the numerous lenses of nonprofit, government contractor, corporate and small business types. 

Experiences in brief

Pursuing numerous passions, I've combined my dual degree skills in International and public relations to support companies in return for tremendous learning experiences, providing my perspectives and absorbing all new ideas. 

Freshmen Intern, Spring 2020

At this time, I was one of four interns selected to work at Hill Communications. I was largely in a learning role, looking to understand what social media management looked like, as well as graphic creation. As I grew into my role, the firm expanded. I took an active and engaged role in supporting personal growth, taking new positions as the number of accounts and leadership developed. 

Sales Associate, Spring 2020

At the start of the pandemic, we were sent home from school. While completing my semester online, I pursued outside opportunities to better myself, working at a plant nursery for 40+ hours per week while also continuing my studies. This opportunity showed me great humility, respect and work ethic, as well as individual retail and client experience. 

Account Associate Lerner Center, Fall 2020 

As an associate, my team role centered around creating ideas and graphics for our content calendar. We facilitated the pitching of a Healthy Monday's campaign nationally among 40+ Universities, putting together strategy and research materials for this initiative. 

Comm/Web/Social Media Intern, Spring 2021

While online, I took on an internship which was largely copy writing and research based. Weekly, I posted materials to the client's social media, drafting Artist Pages, and helping to coordinate new ideas for the company TikTok page to reach new audiences. 

Account Associate, Squip, Spring 2021 

Our team managed social media for a technology and gaming startup. I was individually responsible for researching and crafting messaging for our MMA line of business. We developed social media content, blogs and researched for audience personas to pitch our client's blog to local media and community outlets. 

Communications Intern, L.A.C.E.S., Summer 2021 

I managed all branding and social media content for three platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn), as well as implementing the first analytics program for their organization. Advising on branding and implementing the use of SEO, I redesigned their website for the launch of their Monthly Giving Campaign. I spent two weeks in Washington D.C., interviewing over 18 refugee youth to collect and curate their stories, while also managing their youth soccer program. Concurrently, I developed a capstone program to develop and launch the organization's LinkedIn, as well as associated strategy. 

Director of Communications, Fall 2021 

As Director of Communications, I led all firm wide emails and organized a PRWeek Film Entry. I created all social media content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter pages, creating graphics for an MVP series and facilitating two takeovers. Developed strategy for the upcoming months regarding communications of firmware events and awareness, branding and social media content supporting team integrated goals. 

Account Executive, Dynamic Sustainability Lab, Spring 2022

Selected as the Account Executive, I was responsible for managing all budgeting and financing on the account. I developed all graphics for client and firm materials, as well as was the point of contact for all questions and crises. I was honored as the Most Valued Player of the team at the conclusion of the semester. 

Communications Inter, Lockheed Martin, Summer 2022

I worked with the MMCT handling executive biographies, creation of a communications plan for an anniversary event, completing a digital signage project with two team members, a legal internship, company-wide intern project and several material items. 

Account Supervisor, Dynamic Sustainability Lab, Fall 2022 

This semester, I've managed a team of five members (and two additional graphic designers), running all strategy recommendations for a sustainability lab on campus. Our team has managed media relations, event planning and social media strategy.
