Story

After graduating early from Syracuse University in December '22, I decided to apply for the summer term at Georgetown University to pursue a Master's degree in public relations and corporate communications. The decision to attend virtually opened up the opportunity to pursue my career full time, while also attend to my professional education.

Initially, the concern of juggling a full time workload and classes appeared intimidating. In the beginning, finding a balance was challenging, but I quickly learned that the excitement of a new challenge and study of new things that are engaging made me feel more energized to work in the public relations space. By pursuing my graduate degree simultaneously with work, I also found a balance of application and theory.
